Gathering 1 – Experiencing Christ  (CORE VALUE = Experiential)  

Core Impact is primarily about having an intimate relationship with Christ, yet it is natural to question if we will ever experience intimacy with Christ. While Jesus wants to connect with us, the "noise of life" often drowns out His voice. The result is often a stale faith and stagnant relationship.  In the first gathering, students are challenged to intimately connect with Christ by:

• Sacrificing the good in order to experience the best
• Stopping to be still in order to hear God’s gentle, quiet voice
• Submitting to a spiritual community

Experiential Breakout – Journey Towards Intimacy (CORE VALUE = Experiential)

Instead of just talking about connecting with Christ, students have extended time to experience Him firsthand as they travel on a "Journey Towards Intimacy.”  This journey consists primarily of two ancient Christian practices:  Ignatian Method and the Lectio Divina.

Youth Ministry Breakout – Moving Towards Authentic Spiritual Community (CORE VALUE = Community)

Again, instead of just talking about community, Core Impact carves out time for groups to experience authentic spiritual community by spending significant time processing what God is doing in their group.

Gathering 2 – Expressing His Love (CORE VALUE = Relational Ministry)  

As we develop an intimately connected heart, we are better prepared to see Christ use us to express His love to others.   In the second Gathering, students are challenged to genuinely express Christ’s love by:

• Cultivating authentic relationships.
•  Planting truth in these relationships by sharing their story.
•  Reaping a spiritual harvest in these relationships.

Students will leave this Gathering equipped to share their story and be given a chance to actively express God’s love to others.

Gathering 3 – Entrusting My Life (CORE VALUE = Ongoing Growth)  

During Core Impact, students will discover they can intimately CONNECT with Christ and He can USE them to share His love.  However, to experience continued impact at the core of their being, they must choose to daily ENTRUST their lives to Christ.  When all is said and done, impact comes when Christ works in and through us.  Therefore, learning to daily entrust our lives to Christ gets us back to what Core Impact is primarily about ― intimately connecting with Christ.

During the last Gathering, students will be inspired to entrust their lives . . . on a daily basis . . . to Christ in order to experience an ongoing Core Impact!
